Olá meus amigos,

Tenho 40 anos, e des dos meus 14 escuto e curto Supertramp e RH.

Desejo que 2012 seja um ano de alegrias, saúde e paz para todos nós. Espero também poder revê-los aqui no Brazil mais uma vez (já os vi ao vivo em 1988 no festival Hollywood rock e em todos os shows solos de Hodgson.

Estive em Parc de la Villette em Paris, no local onde foi gravado Paris, e foi emocionante.

Rick e Roger duas pessoas distintas, que um dia reuniram esforços e formaram a banda que me proporciona desde 1975 alegrias imensas!...

Para os dois e respetivas familias e para todos os outros musicos também que comõem a magnifica banda "Supertramp"  um Feliz Natal e um Próspero Ano de 2012 com muitas novidades!!

Gracias Roger por tu música. Gracias por haberte superado incluso respecto a cuando estabas en Supertramp. Gracias por el magnífico trato que me diste en el concierto de Sos del Rey Católico. Estuve delante de tu cara todo el concierto, y no paraste de hablarme y de ser simpatiquísimo conmigo (por cierto, que es verdad, como dices, que en español todo es "isimo"). Fuiste, del mismo modo, muy amable conmigo fuera del escenario (nunca lo olvidaré). También fue muy simpático tu saxofonista McDonald, que dejó de cenar para salir a la calle a charlar con nosotros ¡nada menos que unos 20 minutos! Ese concierto fue de locura, seguro que tú también lo recuerdas.

Luego te he visto en otros conciertos, y tu trato con todo el mundo siempre ha sido perfecto. Se nota que crees en lo que exprtesan tus canciones, y eso entre los músicos de éxito no es habitual. La mayoría solo son simpáticos en el escenario, pero luego en el trato personal suelen ser muy miserables y prepotentes. Tú, por el contrario, eres buena persona tanto en el escenario como en el trato personal. Eres paciente, siendo superior a la mayoría de músicos sin embargo eres humilde y desprendes un aura espiritual inigualable. Tienes algo de sabio gurú.

Por todo ello, te deseo Felices Fiestas. Que te vaya todo muy bien y que, por favor, nos sigas deleitando con tu música inmortal y algún que otro nuevo disco (que seguro también se convertirá en inmortal).

Hello Rick and Roger, I'm a 14 year old living in San Diego California and I'd just thought I'd say that I'm in love with Supertramp. Especially Goodbye Stranger it's my personal favorite. Rick I'd like to let you know that you are my idol and that I hope to one day be like you, I've already learned how to play Goodbye Stranger on piano, I'm saving up for a Wurlitzer to play it on. I hope one day you bring Supertramp on a USA tour and come to San Diego and I could meet you, it would be a dream come true. Roger your music has made me a very sensitive and spiritual boy, while having a competitive attitude due to football I'm still very sensitive due to your heart warming music, I will be seeing you February 24th and 25th at Pechanga in Temecula. Rick please come to San Diego. I've dreamed and dreamed for Supertramp to come to San Diego, I've always wondered how did you come up with all your work, same for you Roger! Rick I'm a very romantic person also  so many of your songs have to do with my love life, (Oh Darling, Casual Conversations, Downstream, My Kind of Lady, Bonnie, You Win I lose, Slow Motion, Broken Hearted etc) I have all of your albums from Supertramp to Slow Motion and I love all of your songs, Roger's also! Rick again you are my idol I even plan on growing long hair and a beard like you had in 1979! I will always be your number 1 fan Rick Davies! Roger I really look forward to seeing you perform in Pechanga! part of my dream has come true but not completely yet because Supertramp hasn't came to San Diego yet I hope it comes true! Dear Rick and Roger,

First of all, thank you for all the wonderful music you have given us over the years. I'm only a teenager, but your songs are timeless and I can relate with them as well today as your early fans did in the 70s. The quality of your music is what first attracted me to Supertramp, the beautiful melodies and the thought-provoking lyrics, and the contrast between the two styles was what made Supertramp distinct. There would not be a day that goes past where I don't listen to your music. 'Crime of the Century' is my favourite album of all time, but the others follow closely behind. I have long awaited the release of the 'Paris' dvd, as I think this is the peak of the band. It is incredible!

Merry Christmas to you and your families. I hope you find peace and rest over the holiday season.
